Proofreading, Editing, Illustrating...and Looking for a PART-TIME Job TOO?

As I am busily working on the TWIN TAILS series, I am also looking to pick up a part-time job again working with people... especially young children. These lil' ones are my muses! :oD

Did some proofreading and editing on TWIN TAILS Book 2 of the Prologue chapter last night! Hoping to move on to Chapter 2, into doing some more thumbnail sketching of this book's story illustrations...and to go back and do more writing in the TWIN TAILS Book 3. With the job search added to this...is this too much for today's TO DO List? :o)  It is exciting to see that story unfolding in my imaginative head onto its manuscript document!

Finished the CRUISE...Now, BACK TO WORK!

SEPTEMBER 10, 2014 - Back to work at home after a fun 7-day cruise with my sister! Both of us did get some work done on the cruise however...but we also enjoyed Mayan ruins, meeting people, musical productions, the beauty of the sea, a bit of shopping, sleeping in a couple of times, and a couple of happy nappies! (Check out the snapshot of me at the base of one Mayan Palace in Belize below!)

I did a tad more of proofing on TWIN TAILS Book 2, a bit of sketching for that book's illustrations, and a bit of writing into TWIN TAILS Book 3! Now it is time to build on all that!

TWIN TAILS Book 1...Book 2...and Book 3! This magical series for children and families is coming together!

Back to working with excitement after a fun, quickie trip to Utah to see my granddaughter for her 3rd birthday! 

I finally finished writing the basic story of the second book in my children's chapter book series, TWIN TAILS, on SAT night! Now, I can hardly wait to begin book 3 of the series to see where it goes from there! So...as I venture forth into that story, somehow I still need to begin the editing and story illustration processes of book 2 too! I want to do too many things at once! I will be taking my fun work along with me as I become a traveling companion for one of my sisters on her Caribbean cruise this next week!

Book One, TWIN TAILS of Mason Beach, is already at the publishers undergoing all the many steps for its publication and launch...they predict very late 2014 or early 2015!  Stay tuned!

Book Cover Designs for TWIN TAILS of Mason Beach and update on TWIN TAILS Book 2!

I've submitted 3 book cover ideas to my publisher in preparation for the publishing, launch & marketing of my magical children's chapter book, TWIN TAILS of Mason Beach!  So excited to hear their input on these designs!

I have also just written chapter 16 of TWIN TAILS Book 2 this weekend...and what an exciting chapter it was too! Now I've only got to write chapter 17 and the epilogue...and this book will be done!  Well... sort of done. Next comes the looonng process of editing, proofing and editing some more...and illustrating the story!!! WOO HOO!!! I'm itching to start TWIN TAILS Book 3 as well!  I don't know if I can wait!

Welcome to a new week everyone!  Hope you've all been energized for this week from a restfully refreshing weekend!

Still working on book cover ideas for my TWIN TAILS children's book series first book, TWIN TAILS of Mason Beach.  I am having fun with it, but I keep coming up with new ideas as I work on them that I'd like to implement too!  Will I ever be able to finish and decide?  Wish you all could help me, but then I'd let the magical secret of the first book out before it is time...and that would spoil the fun!   Stay tuned...and hoping to have this book make its debut bigger and better with the help of ROOK Publishing than I could have done on my own!  

In the meantime, I'm still writing the story of TWIN TAILS book 2!  Hopefully its debut will be soon after book 1!  :o)

UPDATE on TWIN TAILS of Mason Beach ...ROOK Publishing is now part of this magical adventure!

Our meeting with ROOK Publishing last night was mighty encouraging! Tho' it means putting off the publishing and marketing for my children's chapter book, TWIN TAILS of Mason Beach, to a bit further down the road...I'm looking forward to a successful adventure together! Getting this fun book out to many MORE young and emergent readers, families and others passionate about children's books to enjoy is our goal!
